UPDATE 12:00 P.M. EST: LAPD verified Perrette’s story and police arrested a 45-year-old man on felony assault charges. He is currently in jail on $100,000 bail.
This is so scary!
On Thursday evening, NCIS actress Pauley Perrette took to Twitter to share with her many fans that she was attacked by a violent homeless man. Yikes!

This is just awful. Regardless, the starlet’s ability to get herself out of that terrifying situation by remaining calm is incredibly mind-blowing!
We don’t know what’s worse, that Pauley was attacked in the first place or that someone ignored her while she was injured on the side walk. Ugh!
Not to mention, Miz Perrette’s continued desire to help the homeless following this traumatic experience is more than impressive. Talk about being an inspiration!
Unfortunately, the 46-year-old joins a long list of A-listers that have had near death experiences. Oof!
We are happy to hear the alleged attacker was apprehended by the police not long after the incident. Our hearts go out to Pauley as she recovers from this particularly intense time.
Remember, it’s always smart to walk with a buddy late at night. Be safe out there kiddos!
