Neil Patrick Harris had an AH-Mazing opening number at the Tony Awards, but did he get a leeettle too wild with it?
Some are suspecting he might’ve gone a bit too far as they think it sounded like he dropped the N-word during his song and dance number! And you know that is some serious shizz going down if he did!
But don’t get ahead of yourselves, Perezcious readers! Not everything you hear is true!
The moment in question by the Daily Mail and other outlets is when the host for the night brought out Mike Tyson for some dancing during which he’s accused of singing “Is I his n***a?”
We’ve got the uncensored video (above), and feel free to judge for yourself, but FIRST hear out the other side!
NPH is setting the record straight and shooting down the accusations! He just took to Twitter to squash the rumor:
Really, Daily Mail?!? The N-word? That’s your story?!? I would NEVER be so disrespectful and frankly, neither should you.

We just KNEW our NPH wouldn’t throw out such a hateful word!
And we’re glad he stood up against the claims!
We’ll watch him host the Tonys again any day!
UPDATE: Neil’s peeps just CONFIRMED that this nasty allegation was bogus.
His rep said:
“Neil unequivocally did not use derogatory language in the opening number of the Tony Awards, and for the Daily Mail or any other outlet to indicate otherwise is completely irresponsible and utterly disrespectful. We are all so disheartened by the careless reporting, especially following such an incredible show and celebration for the hard-working, dedicated people of Broadway.”
