Well this is not what we wanted to hear at all.
Former South African president Nelson Mandela has been hospitalized for the past few weeks with a recurring lung infection and last we heard he was in critical condition.
Things apparently haven’t gotten any better as officials are now reporting that the 94-year-old has been put on life support.
Supporters continue to swarm to the Pretoria hospital where he is staying to send their love and messages of encouragement.
Nelson’s family had a meeting at his childhood home where an archbishop was on hand to say a few prayers and wished for a “peaceful, perfect end” for the former president. His family didn’t have any discussions regarding a funeral.
We hope that everyone continues to send their love and support to the Mandela family and hopefully he can make a full recovery soon.
