We’ve seen our fair share of nasty and strange flavors come and go over the years, but we think we may have found the worst of them all!
A handful of photos of what appears to be a Mountain Dew taste test at Kent State University have gone viral, as a few students got a chance to try a new flavor that is having some people running for the nearest toilet!
So how gross are we talking here?
Let’s just say the new flavor in question is called “Dewitos.” As in Doritos. But in Mountain Dew form. Like, to drink.
The photos are creating quite a buzz and raising a LOT of questions, like whether or not they are real, and if they ARE real, what kind of sick and twisted person would create such a thing?!

A Redditor who claims to have attended the taste testing described the new flavor, saying:
“It tasted like orange with a doritos aftertaste. It tasted like straight doritos afterwards though. Weirdest thing I’ve ever drunk.”
While multiple people claim to have tried the new Dewitos, their accounts are a bit sketchy considering it’s fairly unbelievable that someone was able to drink this concoction without going into a coma! LOLz!
Witnesses also say there were a few other wacky flavors, like Lemon Ginger and Mango Habanero, but for pretty obvious reasons those aren’t piquing interest NEARLY the same way!
It’s unclear whether or not Dewitos are real or if they’ll ever live to hit store shelves, but one thing that IS clear is some sodas just want to watch the world burn!
