On HBO’s Game of Thrones, if a character isn’t getting killed, killing someone, or having sex they’re likely getting drunk.
Seems like every time there’s an event, or a business meeting or anything really, people are drinking.
So of course the show has its own beer!!
We previously mentioned that HBO teamed up with brewers Ommegang to make some GoT beer!
The first one, a blonde ale called Iron Throne, sounds amazing. It’s described as “malty, vaguely fruity, a little spicy, but nothing overpowering.”
Sounds super tasty!!
Their newest brew is getting us really excited though… it sounds like something special: Valar Morghulis!!
It means “all men must die,” and that’s so badass it’s amazing.

There’s been pretty high demand for these GoT beers so Ommegang has upped production, making 666,000 bottles!!
666 thousand?? That’s DARK!
