New Pill Reduces HIV Risk By Up To 70%

OMG this is amazing!!

In what is being called a major prevention breakthrough in the AIDS era, researchers have found that taking a daily pill containing a mix of HIV drugs can reduce the risk of contracting the virus by an average of 44%, and more than 70% if the patients take most of their pills.

Researchers performed tests on 2,500 high-risk gay men, but they believe that the results will be applicable to other populations. Studies are already being conducted to see if this is the case.

This is incredible! AIDS has long been considered an incurable epidemic, so it’s unbelievable that we’re beginning to make headway on finding medical prevention methods!
