New T. Rex Relative Discovered! Dubbed 'King Of Gore!'

Congrats Tyrannosaurus Rex, we just found a new member of your family!
Researchers at the Natural History Museum of Utah and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science have published a paper describing the new species of dinosaur: Lythronax argestes.
The name translates to the King of Gore and that’s just terrifying!
One of the researchers said:

“At 80 million years old, Lythronax argestes represents what the T. rex would have come from.”

So it’s the T. Rex ancestor! Whether it’s more an uncle or cousin, they don’t know yet.
The King of Gore was apparently smaller than a T. Rex but probably still just as terrifying!
So while this discovery is incredible, we’re still pretty glad a real life Jurassic Park doesn’t exist.
