In the past few weeks, it seems like the NFL is making headlines for ALL of the wrong reasons! But Devon Still is proving there are still some players out there who can make headlines for all of the RIGHT reasons!
The Cincinnati Bengals defender has been getting a TON of support when he announced his 4-year-old daughter Leah was battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma, a form of cancer that is common in younger children and infants.

Despite only being given a 50-50 shot at survival, Devon’s daughter has managed to defy the odds and fight on! In fact, Leah recently had surgery to remove the tumors from her lymph nodes, and the footballer updated all of his Twitter followers with some VERY positive news:
“After a 5hr 50min surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from…best news I’ve received in a long time #PrayForLeah #GodIsGood #ThanksForYourSupport”
That’s such amazing news!
Now Devon was quick to point out that Leah isn’t completely out of the woods yet, and she’s still not 100% cancer free! However, it’s definitely a step in the right direction!
He also noted that she will be undergoing a few more procedures to remove the cancer from her bone marrow, and hopefully they go just as smoothly as her most recent surgery!
We’re definitely keeping you in our thoughts, Devon and Leah!
