Here's More Evidence Nia Long Was A Pain In The Ass On The Empire Set

Nia Long apparently was a nightmare on Empire set.
Ooh, the plot thickens!
We previously reported that Nia Long and Taraji P. Henson did not get along on the Empire set because of how Nia treated the hair, makeup, and wardrobe people. Well, now there’s even more evidence against Nia!

Multiple production sources tell TMZ that the hair, makeup, and wardrobe workers actually filed a formal complaint against the actress for how rude and entitled she was acting during her time on the show.
Apparently the 46-year-old would parade around like a total diva, being extremely disrespectful toward hair and makeup. She would sometimes decide she didn’t like her look at the last minute and then get angry at the employees. WTF!
Moreover, she was also “habitually late,” making Taraji and Terrence Howard wait up to 30 minutes for her arrival. Sometimes a stand-in would be called so that Taraji and Terrence could at least rehearse before Nia deigned to show up. So fucking rude! We can’t!
TMZ also reports that Nia threatened to file suit against the show for not thanking her after her last scene. Apparently it is customary for the assistant director to call out “This is (actor’s name) last scene,” then thank them and have the cast and crew applaud. This reportedly did not happen during Nia’s last scene because Terrence was having some sort of allergic reaction and the AD was trying to get him some Benadryl.
One actor told TMZ that they would never work with the actress again because the whole experience was so horrendous.
Nia’s rep, however, maintains that the star did nothing wrong, saying:

“We stand by our comments this morning that Nia has always, and continues to be, a consummate professional on set. In respect to her working relationships with the cast, she came onto this project, in the first place, because of her long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Terrence Howard. We are not aware of any complaint, suit or case against her from anyone involved in the show, and we find the timing of all of these stories to be very suspicious, given that the series returns tonight.”

We think they doth protest too much.
Why would the production crew lie about the actress? It makes no sense!
