We’ve previously heard that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have a ironclad prenup, complete with a confidentiality clause, but the details may surprise you.
Reportedly, if Nick violates the confidentiality, he has to pay a $250,000 penalty, but if Mariah pipes up about their relationship, her fine is doubled at $500,000!

At the time they got married, Nick was only worth $500,000, and took out a loan for Mimi’s wedding ring. The singer was worth $150 million though, so maybe that’s why her penalty is steeper.
That’s a whole lotta ca$$$h!
But it seems like the split is going smoothly, and they even have the property situations figured out.
