We’d heard rumors that, following their split, Nick Cannon was writing a diss song about Mariah Carey. Well, that’s just not true.
Apparently, people who heard Nick’s new track thought he said the word “check” but it was “text.” And it matters!

Luckily, a video has surfaced that shows Nick, Mally Mall, French Montana, and Too Short all at a strip club shooting the video, which means we get to hear the audio. Unfortunately for Nick, the original report misheard the lyrics AGAIN!
Here’s what he ACTUALLY said:

For what it’s worth, this song sounds WAYYYY better when Nick raps it than when you read it. And he even throws in a few “skeet skeets” for good measure!
Basically, anytime someone skeets in a song, it’s a hit, right?! LOLz!
