The fans want to know, what’s going on with Sam & Cat?!?!
Ever since Jennette McCurdy didn’t show up to the Kids’ Choice Awards, everyone has been wondering what that diss was all about.
While many suspected it was over her leaked lingerie pics, there are now bigger worries on hand! And those worries involve the future of Sam & Cat!
We heard earlier that production of the show was halted as Jennette was fighting for a new contract to bump her salary closer to Ariana Grande‘s payday. Not to mention, we ALSO heard the show could be canceled due to all these issues. But, Nickelodeon doesn’t want you believing those money hungry rumors.
The network released a statement:
“We are wrapping up what was an unusually long production cycle of Sam & Cat, and everyone is understandably tired. We are going into our production hiatus next week which will give everyone on the show a much-needed rest.”
Considering the show’s first season has 40 episodes, we can understand anyone being tired!
But, we’re not so sure we’re going to stop believing the financial messiness rumors because Jennette did tweet out deets about the issues this week!
Obviously SOMETHING is wrong in the land of Nick. We just hope it’s resolved in time to move the season forward!
