Nickelodeon To Open Its Own Water Theme Park

You know the Pitt-Jolie kids are gonna be all about this!

Nickelodeon has partnered up with Southern Star Amusement and the city of New Orleans to create their first ever water theme park called Nickelodeon Universe New Orleans.

Fun!

Southern Star will construct the park with brands licensed from Nickelodeon.

So what’s that mean for the kiddies?

Looks like they’ll have characters from some of their top shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer throughout the park.

There will also be rides, characters in costumes, games, food, shops and more. The water park will actually take up 65 acres and a spot that was formerly Jazzland/Six Flags.

Construction is set to begin later this year, and they’re hoping to open their doors by the end of 2010.
