The rumors are true… even though we kinda wish they weren’t!
Nicki Minaj rang in her birthday weekend with close pals and her newly Instagram official flame, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, who just happens to be a convicted sex offender in the state of New York.
According to The Blast, he also spent time in prison after pleading guilty in the case of Lamont Robinson‘s shooting death. The original charge was second degree murder, but his attorneys were able to get the charge downgraded to manslaughter following negotiations. This occurred in 2002. He was released in 2013.

The Barbie Tingz singer posted a pic with the registered sex offender just after Thanksgiving, but it wasn’t clear if the duo were just friends or something more. Now, from her new caption, it’s pretty clear that things have heated up!
