Did Nicki Minaj Just Shade Drake In Her New ‘Hard White’ Video? LOOK!

Does Nicki Minaj have a few more things to get off her chest?

The video for her track Hard White officially dropped on Friday, and the internet has many thoughts about a few visuals. They seem to take a direct shot at on-again, off-again rap bestie Drake, along with the Grammys, who famously snubbed Miz Minaj in this year’s nominations.

The rap queen’s never been one to hide her feelings. Who could forget when she came for everyone’s neck on Barbie Dreams? But it’s been relatively quiet between Nicki and Drizzy as of late, so the very subtle jab at the Toronto rapper in her new video definitely caught the attention of fans.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, peep Nicki channeling her inner Hades, Goddess of the Underworld (below):

You can literally blink and miss it, but Twitter has been ablaze over a quick frame where a scorpion appears in full, and then is crushed to pieces in the following frame (below), all while Nicki’s line, “Got these bitches shook, they shocked, no stun gun” plays:

Drake’s last studio album was titled Scorpion, so not much to dissect there! And thanks to a fan on Twitter, you can catch a glimpse of the Queen rapper’s jab at the Recording Academy (below):

Ha!! Take that Grammys!

Now as we previously mentioned, Nicki took shots at many of her peers on Barbie Dreams, but later clarified that all of her “disses” were just jokes, aimed at friends in the game who she knew could take a joke.

But watch the video back and you’ll also see a quick frame of a dead bird, which some fans could interpret as a nod to her long-standing feud with Cardi B, so maybe it isn’t just a joke? See for yourself (below):
