Remember when Nicki Minaj was all about those crazy wigs and even crazier outfits?
It seems so long ago!
Over the last few months the rapper’s traded her outrageous style for a more toned-down look, and it turns out it was a well calculated move.
In a recent interview, Her Minajesty explained the new Nicki, saying:
“I knew that I was about to launch a clothing line and I want women to know that I’m just a regular woman and I’m not some weirded-out character all the time. It felt like I took off this mask├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it didn’t feel like that to me├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥but to the world it’s almost like, ‘Oh, now we see the real her.’ It was weird. I think people were under the assumption that I was wearing a lot of makeup because I was wearing pink blush and pink lips.”

While the new and improved Nicki is for her clothing line, there’s still hope crazy OG Nicki comes out for the launch of not one, but TWO new fragrances.
Nicki revealed she plans to please a limited edition scent as well as a brand spanking new scent that will make the Barbz “gag century” when they see the bottle.
Sounds…promising? Ha!
Maybe the Pink Friday follow-up will come with wigs instead of clothes. How fab would that be!?
