Uh-oh! The claws are coming out!
Many were delighted yesterday when an alleged demo of the new Madonna single, Give Me All Your Love, found its way onto the net, but Nicola Roberts was apparently not one of them, as she – and many fans – are lashing out at the pop icon, for essentially ripping off the cheerleader-style chorus from her debut solo single, Beat Of My Drum!
It all came to a head when bandmate Cheryl Cole wrote her via Twitter:
@NicolaRoberts Imitation is the biggest form of flattery!
To which she responded:
@CherylCole Copy-catting has never flattered me..
OUCH! Sounds like gurlfriend is not messing around!
For now, let’s just keep in mind that the Madge demo is just that – a demo! Who knows what kind of changes it will go through until the final version is ready for our ears?!
We said it yesterday, it could still definitely use some work!
