Tightrope? More like tightNOPE! There is NO WAY we would do this, unless we were like completely harnessed in and it was more of a zipline than an awful stroll across nature’s largest pothole! LOLz!
Daredevil Nik Wallenda isn’t us, though, and has completed a tightrope walk a quarter mile over the Little Colorado River Gorge in northeastern Arizona. He did it on a 2-inch-thick steel cable, 1,500 feet above the river on the Navajo Nation near the Grand Canyon.
We’re not really sure why he did this, maybe he’s already seen all the movies out in theaters right now or something! Ha!
The whole walk took just a little more than 22 minutes, pausing and crouching twice because of wind.
His next stunt, he says, would be a tightrope walk between the Empire State building and the Chrysler building in New York! AAAHH! If his wife and kids ask him not to do any more walks, though, he said that would be the end, no questions!
Part of us wants to see him do it, and the other part wants to see his wife and kids ask him to stop! We’re so torn! LOLz!
