Will Nikki Garcia Ever Get Married Again? She's Open To Love, But…

Nikki Garcia is slowly but surely healing after the tumultuous end of her marriage.

The retired WWE star appeared on Thursday’s episode of the Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast, where the host probed her with questions about romance. She asked the 41-year-old if she’s “still open to love” in the wake of her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev, and the twin revealed a very specific response: she’s open to “love and not marriage.”

Honestly, we get that! As we have been following, Nikki and Artem’s marriage came to an end after the Dancing with the Stars performer was arrested in August for domestic violence — just days after their second wedding anniversary! Weeks later, Nikki filed for divorce, accusing Artem of having a whole history of domestic violence in their relationship — some of which in front of their son Matteo. The two eventually settled things and dropped the restraining orders they had against one another, and Nikki stepped back from the spotlight. But she seems a whole lot more healed now and while she may be ready to love again, marriage just might not be her thing anymore!

Kristin asked if she’s really never going to say “I do” again, and the TV personality responded:

“Well I think maybe, but I don’t wanna sign paperwork again.”

So, like, a symbolic marriage? If any marriage at all?

Kristin, who went through a divorce of her own with ex-husband Jay Cutler, remarked marriage is “so easy to do and so hard to get out of,” which Nikki agreed wholeheartedly with while reflecting on her relationship with Artem:

“I mean, so hard. At night, [I] think about it though. This is crazy, like, it was supposed to be an act of love and now I’m in prison.”

Yeesh… That’s really sad! We don’t blame her for not being ready to sign her name on the dotted line again!

She clarified once again that she is “definitely open to love for sure.” The Nikki & Brie Show podcast host revealed she’s not currently dating, but is “almost ready” to start dipping her toe back in the pool!
