No Doubt To Time Travel On Gossip Girl

The details on No Doubt‘s appearance on an upcoming episode Gossip Girl have been revealed – and they’re quite interesting!
The freshly reunited band will be appearing on the May 11th episode of the show not as themselves but as a fictional group named Snowed Out!

“We’ve done plenty of television performances, as ourselves doing our own songs, but ‘Gossip Girl’ was a new situation,” said No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont on the appearance. “We’re kind of like actors in the sense that we’re doing something within a drama on television.”
The episode, which will take place in 1983, provides a set-up for the upcoming Gossip Girl spin-off following the characters of Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey.
It will be Britanny Snow‘s first time on the show.
