Not All Greek Yogurt Is Greek Yogurt

Did that title just blow your mind?
Good! Now to explain
It turns out that not all Greek yogurt sold at the grocery store is ├óΓé¼┼ôtrue├óΓé¼┬¥ Greek yogurt. In order to make real Greek yogurt, you have to strain all of the excess whey out of the milk — giving it a thick, creamy texture and a higher protein content than other yogurts.
The problem is that this process takes two to three times as much milk as normal yogurt, so some companies cut corners to save money.
Here├óΓé¼Γäós how you tell if it├óΓé¼Γäós real Greek yogurt: Check the ingredient list. Milk, fruit, sugar, and live cultures should be on there — gelatin, corn starch, and milk protein concentrate should not.
OR, check the nutrition facts. Greek yogurt has between 13 and 18 grams of protein. Anything less is a fake.
