Though yesterday we thought it was a definite possibility that the premiere of Lost was going to be pushed back a week in favor of President Obama’s State of Union address, today we’ve learned that your fervor has won out!

Lost wins the right to premiere on Groundhog’s Day!

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs made the announcement when an ABC radio reporter asked him about it this morning. Robert responded:

“I don’t foresee a scenario in which millions of people who hope to finally get some conclusion with Lost are preempted by the president.”
