White House Announces Motown Tribute For Black History Month

Fun! This will surely be an incredible night of music! Ain’t nothing wrong with that!
It’s been announced that in honor of Black History Month, The White House will put on a special concert dedicated to the music of Motown. Slated for February 24th, Motown icon Smokey Robinson will lead an overwhelming talented lineup of stars who will serenade President Obama with some amazing music.
The event is scheduled to air nationally March 1 on PBS and will feature performances by Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx, Natasha Bedingfield, John Legend, Nick Jonas, Seal, Gloriana, Jordin Sparks and Glee‘s Amber Riley and Mark Salling.
Whoa! Hold up! Where’s Jay-Z?! Don’t tell us he is too busy for the Prez??? What’s that about???
