Conan O'Brien Still Mad At NBC

CoCo O’Brien did an interview recently where he gave an update on his feelings about his ex-home, NBC.
Turns out, he’s still miffed — and we think, rightly so!
Attention is being called to the fact that he indirectly referred to them as Nazis.
Listen, guys, it’s Conan. He’s bound to put things in the funniest way possible, and to relate how he felt to Indiana Jones being thrown through a truck’s windshield by a Nazi, is a HIGHlarious way of putting it.
We don’t condone Nazis, that goes without saying, but we do condone referencing movies, DEF Indy.
This is what he said:

“You know that scene in the first Indiana Jones movie where he gets thrown through the truck windshield by a Nazi? I was thrown through the windshield of broadcasting.”

See? Not so offensive.
Now that that’s taken care of, let’s move on.
Conan moves on to reflect a little more on how it felt:

“I made a decision and that decision very quickly led to me walking away from the crown jewel of old broadcasting and, in addition to that, being legally prohibited from going on television├óΓé¼┬ª Ten years ago, if my situation with NBC had unfolded, none of this would have happened. Yeah, maybe I was 10 years too late to do The Tonight Show that I wanted to do. But I was just in the nick of time. Do you know what I mean?”

Yeah, I think we can wrap our heads around that generally, even if we can’t specifically!
He even spoke a little about Twitter, and how NBC didn’t like the idea of him on it.
Why? Were they afraid he was going to say something about them?? He was already under an agreement that he couldn’t throw them under the bus in a public venue!
So he responded to them accordingly:

“Tell them I would be thrilled if they shut down my Twitter account. I’d love it if that got out. You think PR’s been bad up till now? Wait till you take away my Twitter account.”

We hear that, bb! Glad your new show is going well, and best of luck in the future!!
