Off Campus fans are so glad Mika Abdalla is no longer with her ex now!
In case you missed it this week, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly that Mika and Jake Short, best known for starring in the Disney Channel series A.N.T. Farm, called off their engagement after 5 years together. The representative gave away no details about what led to the split but insisted the former couple “continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms.” With no clue about what happened, fans decided to dig for answers after the announcement and stumbled upon a super uncomfortable, gross clip of comments Jake once made about Mika! Here is the deal!
Back in 2024, Jake hosted The Sit and Chat podcast with his longtime friend and fellow Disney Channel alum Bradley Steven Perry. You may recognize him as the brother in Good Luck Charlie and the husband/soon-to-be baby daddy of Natasha Bure, AKA Candace Cameron Bure‘s daughter. When the trio sat down with Mika for an episode of the show titled “Couples Therapy,” Bradley asked Jake how he would describe the 26-year-old actress. And his response? He goes with a smile:
“I have two words.”
To which Mika replied:
“Lot of farts”
However, that is not what Jake planned to say! He said:
“I’d be like, ‘Some b**ch'”
WTF?!?
The remark immediately stuns Bradley and Natasha into silence for a couple of seconds! No joke! This was their face afterward:
Bradley then speaks up awkwardly, saying, “Oh my god.” Mika chimed in with her reaction, firing back:
“So, she’s the best person he knows — the best person he’s ever met — and I’m some b**ch?”
And do not expect Jake to apologize! He doesn’t even try to walk back and say he’s only joking (though it’s not funny whatsoever)! Instead, the actor told Mika to dab him up before adding:
“We’re locked in over here.”
Jeez! The award for one of the worst fiancés goes to Jake for seriously calling his partner “some b**ch!” And that incident is only strike one against him! Mika later got cold and asked to borrow Jake’s extra shirt. However, he REFUSED! Natasha and Bradley both stuck up for Mika, demanding that Jake give her the shirt. But he continued to decline before suggesting they lower the AC. What a jerk. Wow. Watch the entire podcast clip here.

The video has since gone viral, with Off Campus fans slamming him onlnie! They’re now thrilled Mika dumped Jake, saying she deserves a man who doesn’t casually refer to her as just “some b**ch.” Ch-ch-check out all the reactions (below):
