Jenny Mollen has come under fire on social media for a recent post she made featuring her 12-year-old son.
Right after the actress announced she was calling it quits with her husband of 18 years, Jason Biggs, she’s found herself in a world of controversy. On her social media, the Cattle Call star shared some photos of herself lying on top of her son Sid in bed, with her body tucked between his legs and her hands in his hair.
The caption of this post now just displays a period, but before it was changed, it read:
“Your eldest son will be the most toxic guy you ever date.”

This post did NOT sit well with some social media users. In the comments, some reacted:
“Super weird. And I have boys the same age. And yes we hug and cuddle but that caption was creepy AF”
“CPS should be involved”
“I hug my son. I DON’T LAY groin to groin with him. Weird. Block”
“My son is almost 12 and is very attached and snuggly but girl this is weird??? This will be on the internet forever. Think about how your son will feel about this in a few years.”
“Why are some and I said SOME boy moms so weird. I have witnessed it with my own eyes and now add this to the list”
“For anyone defending this. Would you be okay with it if it was a “comedian” dad and his 12 year old daughter??”
“I have 5 boys ages 11-2. We cuddle, we snuggle and wrestle. They love to cuddle mom. Do we lay like this? HELL no. Do I make references to dating them? Absolutely not. Wtf even is that. This is why people say boy moms are weird.”
Jenny defended her caption, though. In response to one comment, she said:
“I said your eldest will be the most toxic bf you ever have. I stand by this!”
One commenter even defended her, saying:
“She’s not doing anything wrong. That’s her son. That’s his mom. We already known she a lot and eccentric. I love her.”
An insider also told People on Tuesday:
“The picture is nothing more than a mother hugging her 12 year-old son. Any one inferring anything else should be ashamed of themselves.”
But that didn’t stop social media users from taking it a step further. On both Instagram and Facebook, a “community note” appeared. In case you’re unfamiliar, a community note is a comment of clarity written by a social media user, then voted on for accuracy by other social users. The ones under Jenny’s posts say her caption is “pedophilic” and promotes inappropriate relationships with children. Ouch.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress continued to defend herself in a since-deleted Instagram Story, saying she was “shocked” by the negative response:
“It’s like because I’m getting separated, because I’m not protected by the institution of marriage, I’m suddenly like a different kind of target in what I’m posting. Like this is absolutely jaw-dropping. A photo of me hugging my 12-year-old child is getting ridiculed.”
Jenny has yet to take the posts down after all this started going down. But what do U think? Is this problematic? Sound OFF (below).
