Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are parents of two!
On Sunday, the X-Men: Apocalypse actress took to Instagram to reveal the arrival of her second baby, a little girl named Méi June! In a lengthy post, she revealed she was not able to carry the child herself, but found a “real-life angel” in her surrogate. She wrote:
“I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true.”
As we know, the 44-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and made the brave decision to undergo a double mastectomy, in addition to a more “aggressive” preventative measure by removing her uterus and reproductive organs with a hysterectomy. But before all that, she and John created two healthy embryos after she underwent egg retrieval — which she told Vogue she was ready to find a surrogate to carry! We’re so glad she found someone!
The mom of two added in her post:
“I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded.”
She went on to reveal the pronunciation and meaning of the name Méi:
“Méi (pronounced may) means plum in Chinese”

John also took to his own IG page to share photos from the milestone family moment. He hilariously wrote:
“Méi June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon. We stole so much stuff from the hospital. I love my little girl so much.”

So much to celebrate for these two! They just tied the knot two months ago, and now they have a little baby girl! We love it! Olivia and John are also parents to son Malcolm Hiệp, whom they welcomed in 2021.
Congratulations to the happy family!
