Report: One Direction Will Go On A One Year Hiatus Starting In March! Is This The Beginning Of The End?

One Direction fans are going to lose their minds!!
In a not so surprising turn of events, a source close to the band says 1D will go on hiatus come March and there will be no world tour despite the recent release of their fifth album. While the insider says this is “not a split”, we have a feeling this is the beginning of the end!

The confidante elaborated on the disappointing situation, saying:

The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband. They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision. It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future. But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world’s most popular music act.”

Hmm, we have a feeling this is the beginning of the end. While the source claims this isn’t a permanent break-up, we can’t see a reunion in the future. Not only did the loss of Zayn Malik damage the group, but Louis Tomlinson‘s impending fatherhood is most likely his main focus at this point.
