It’s being reported Liam Payne has died at just 31 years old.
According to TMZ sources, the One Direction member was killed Wednesday evening in a fall from his hotel balcony in Argentina. Liam was staying at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. Multiple witnesses there report seeing him fall from his 3rd floor balcony at around 5 p.m. local time.
The word currently is “fall” — though it’s unclear what happened, if this was an accident or something else.
Witnesses say Liam was acting erratically in the hotel lobby and smashed his own laptop. Per TMZ, someone even called 911 to alert authorities of “aggressive” behavior. He reportedly had to be carried upstairs to his room. Whatever happened, it’s just… unthinkable. Just 31 years old.
Liam was in Argentina to watch his old friend Niall Horan perform earlier this month, and the bandmates reunited at the show. We still don’t know how this could have happened, but we’ll let you know everything we hear as we hear it. We just… wow.
