Guess The Wanted isn’t the only boyband involved in a One Direction-centered feud!
Remember we told you back in April how an American band, who also goes by the name One Direction, had sued the Brit group for supposedly stealing their name???
Well, now it├óΓé¼Γäós looking like Simon Cowell├óΓé¼Γäós record label, Syco Entertainment and Sony Music aren├óΓé¼Γäót just going to sit back and let the $1 million lawsuit happen — they├óΓé¼Γäóve decided to countersue!
The nearly infamous One Direction is claiming that they had the band name before the UNfamous One Direction did!
Syco and Sony are alleging that the U.S. group “devised and perpetrated a scheme to exploit the goodwill├óΓé¼┬¥ of the UK group and that they├óΓé¼Γäóre just trying to take advantage of the customer confusion!
Boy, this might just get messy!
Though, we’re pretty sure with all the success that the What Makes You Beautiful singers have had, that they should be allowed to keep the name!
