We’re here for this!
As we reported last night, Oprah Winfrey made history at the Golden Globes as the first African American woman in history to be presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Her moving acceptance speech has now rallied the Internet into launching a campaign for Miss O to run for President in 2020! And get this… the TV personality’s longtime partner Stedman Graham said the 63-year-old would ‘absolutely’ do it!

Hey, if Donald Trump can be President, anyone can be President, right?! Don’t give up on your dreams!
Graham told the Los Angeles Times:
“It’s up to the people. She would absolutely do it.”
And even Meryl Streep is on board with the ticket! She said to The Washington Post:
“She launched a rocket tonight. I want her to run for president. I don’t think she had any intention [of declaring]. But now she doesn’t have a choice.”
So you know it’s real!
Be sure to take a look at what everyone is saying (below)!!

I mean, it’s been fun to joke about Oprah running for president, but that speech really was presidential. That was phenomenal, even by her standards.#GoldenGlobes #TimesUp

I’m not saying Oprah should be president. Or that she’d even want to be.
But how comforting did it feel to hear someone articulate the promise of America again?
And not have to cringe like every time that orange gas bag opens his oft-used pie hole.

As I sit here in tears…I have never ever seen such a speech. @Oprah, my friend. Please run for President. This world needs more of THAT. WOW.
