Oregon Players To Be Punished For Chanting 'No Means No' At Jameis Winston, Florida's QB Who Was Formerly Accused Of Rape

Some of the Oregon Ducks & fans are being pegged as sore WINNERS after Oregon beat Florida State (FSU) in the New Year’s Day Rose Bowl game.
To taunt Florida’s QB Jameis Winston, Ducks fans AND players were apparently chanting “No means no,” throughout the game, whenever Winston’s name came up.
Winston was accused of rape by a fellow student in 2012 but faced no criminal charges.

So Oregon players hijacked FSU’s Seminole “war chant” and did the “tomahawk chop” singing “no means no.”
Regardless of the intention, the move has been seen as trivializing sexual assault, regardless of the people who are trying to defend the chant. Like this tweet:

Doesn’t matter that the words are all about a woman’s inalienable right to choose, because they weren’t really using them that way: they were using a very real situation against a fellow player — for the sake of sports, not for the sake of victims.
After a Vine of Ducks players doing the chant and chop went viral, Oregon’s coach Mark Helfrich said:

“We are aware of the inappropriate behavior in the postgame. This is not what our programs stand for, and the student-athletes will be disciplined internally.”

Do YOU think they deserve to be punished?
