Well this is one way to sound bitter!
Oscar de la Renta├óΓé¼Γäós fairytale designs have been loved by nearly every FLOTUS in his designing lifetime, but that’s not the case with Michelle Obama.
In case you forgot, the designer famously bashed the First Lady a few years ago, and lets just say he still isn’t her biggest fan.
During a Mexico City fashion gala last week, the 80 year old said dressing Barack Obama‘s wife is a low priority, saying:
“It is a relation that began poorly and I think it will end the same way.”
Well, at least he can admit it!
In fact, Oscar would rather dress a nobody than MObama! He went on to say his ideal client is “an anonymous woman on the street” because that’s who influences today’s fashion, not a movie star or a first lady.
Famous or not, you still have to have a lot of ca$$$h in your bank account if you want to wear him, so that might be a moot point.
