Damn. Everything is going Oscar Pistorius‘ way!
After the Valentine’s Day death of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, the paralympian admitted to shooting and killing the model because he thought she was an intruder, but he DENIED murdering her, which has led him to be freed on bail.
And once he was let go on a measly $112,000 bond, the South African court confiscated his two passports so that he couldn’t flee the country, but now, they’re allowing him to leave South Africa in order to compete in races.
Pistorius asked for the restriction to be lifted earlier today, and after the judge carefully examined the situation, he allowed him to travel, but he would have to let officials know about his destinations beforehand.
It’s crazy to think that all Oscar had to do was ask if he could leave the country and BAM!, just like that, he got his wish.
We’re wondering what the court is gonna let the Olympian do next because it seems like he’s literally getting away with murder.
UPDATE!!!
Even though Oscar is now allowed to leave South Africa, his rep is stating that he will not be racing anytime soon, the insider said:
“Oscar does not intend to compete. He merely challenged the travel restrictions imposed, since he was not considered a flight risk during the bail hearing. At this point in time there are no plans for him to travel at all.”
Guess he just wanted his restriction to be lifted as a precaution!
