The EGOT winner attended the New York Knicks VS. Golden State Warriors basketball game at Madison Square Garden on Monday night… And got more than she bargained for! While sitting courtside alongside her beau Common, Knicks point guard Miles McBride lost control of the ball as it launched into the crowd — hitting JHud directly in the face! OUCH!

The 24-year-old baller appeared visibly apologetic as he quickly cradled the American Idol alum, but it was too late… She looked PISSED! The 43-year-old checked to make sure her glasses weren’t broken as she mouthed, “Wow” in shock. A sports commentator simultaneously said:
“Protect Jennifer Hudson!”
