Neighbor Claims Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Were Together 'Six Months' Before Anyone Knew!

Travis Kelce‘s neighbor says he was the first to know about his relationship with Taylor Swift!

On an episode of the Social Game Podcast last month, the football player’s next-door neighbor Wes Bergmann dished about his relationship while it was still in the early stages. Of course, we all remember when Trav put Tay Tay on blast on New Heights when he said he had a friendship bracelet for her back in July 2023. It was just two months later when they went public, as Taylor attended her first game to cheer on her new guy:

So we know they started dating some time in between there, and we’ve heard it was a bit before anyone knew. But Wes is claiming he knew about it before anyone else did.

While chatting with host Michele Fitzgerald, he said:

“I was like the first person to know about any of this stuff. I tried to tell [Michele] a long time ago. I was like, ‘They’re together, just so you know’ … but she didn’t believe me. She didn’t believe it. She was like, ‘she only goes for artists’. I beat the validating of her showing up to games and stuff by like six months.”

Michele said she didn’t believe it because T-Swizzle seems to go for “scrawnier”, “brooding artists” — not NFL players! Watch for yourself at the 19:19 timestamp (below):

Wes didn’t clarify whether he actually saw the two of them together or if he just heard rumors, but either way, something isn’t adding up. He beat everyone by knowing about it for “six months”? That’s just not possible! Taylor herself said she started hanging out with Travis “not long” after that concert in July. Even if it was immediately after, that’s only two months before the game. Is he just wildly exaggerating or what?

When Swifties and Tayvis fans started calling out the mixed-up timeline, he backtracked on X (Twitter). The actor wrote on the app Tuesday:

“Omg y’all I’m so sorry and confused. Everything being reported on is none of my business. My contribution to this was taken out of context and said in what I thought was relative obscurity, but it obviously wasn’t.”

First of all, nothing said about Tay is ever in obscurity! LOLz! Swifties will hear about it, no matter what. But to explain himself better, he went on to add:

“He moved in November, that’s all I know. I told Michele, who is a giant fan, hey this is serious. She didn’t believe me for six months. That was the intention of the comment. Again it was taken out of context but I shouldn’t be talking about it anyway. So consider this the last time I do.”
