Overweight Seal Put On Diet At Cornish Sanctuary

It’s time to change the Yule tide on Yule Log’s diet!
Yule Log is a rescued seal at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary that weighs a whopping 273 pounds.
Staffers have been overfeeding the colossal seal, who uses his sealy charm and cuteness to score extra food.
And we mean EXXXTRRRAA food!
From now on, the seal will only receive his standard 4.4 pounds of fish for breakfast and 3.3 pounds for lunch.
The sanctuary will also weigh Yule Log every month to monitor his progress on top of working extra hard during the seal’s enrichment exercises.
It’s time for this seal to fight the battle of the bulge!
