Let’s get a few things straight, right of the bat…

And we of course LOVE the Holidaze!
But add those three things together and you apparently get a pretty depressing Christmas song!
Christmas in L.A. is Brandon Flowers and the boys’ new holiday tune that tells the story of one young man who is stuck in Southern California on Christmas. He can’t go back home to see his folks so he instead spends the special day alone!
Womp womp…
In the music video, Owen plays this struggling actor who has to give up white snow and mistletoe for sunshine and palm trees, all while trying desperately to be discovered in Hollywood.
Don’t get us wrong, we dig this! Like, a lot. It just needs to be listened to at the right time. If you’re trying to kick off your Christmas shindig with an uplifting diddy, we suggest you stick to Mariah Carey and leave this one for the end of the night when things are winding down.
