When Pamela Anderson revealed her acrimonious split from boyfriend Adil Rami last week, she revealed all manner of detestable behavior.
Most glaring at the time was the allegation the footballer had been living a “double life” by carrying on a relationship with his baby momma Sidonie Biémon while dating the Baywatch star.

But Pam also hinted at something more violent, saying:
“I have a body guard because he scares me. He has hurt me and threatened me many times.”
Since then we’ve gotten more details on those claims.
In a series of emails released to the public, Pam told Sidonie their shared man “threw [her] around by [her] hair” and “crushed both [her] hands” — so bad she needed to go to the hospital.
Obviously these accusations would be damaging against any man — but Adil is one of the celeb faces of Solidarite Femmes, an organization set up to help women who are victims of domestic violence — so this must be particularly devastating for him.
And if it’s all true, good riddance.
Now the soccer star is playing defense, posting a lengthy response to the accusations on his Instagram account over the weekend, writing (badly translated from French, sorry!):
“Well, I have no choice, I’m sorry. I kept silent because I am shocked and it is very difficult to speak without interpreting every word. But I have too much on my heart. I will make it simple and super clear and as I said before I will not comment on the details of our life with Pamela. I want to tell you that these accusations of violence are completely false and I can not let that go.“
He continues:
“Those who know me know who I am and my values. They know it’s impossible and I can not. If she wanted to touch me she chose well. She knows that my commitment to the cause of violence against women is something that is really important to me. I respect too much the women solidarity people I met and this fight! This is really disgusting.”
He’s saying Pam is making up the accusations of domestic violence because it will hurt him more because he’s so against domestic violence?
So this is happening to him because he’s so virtuous. Right. That is a defense…
But Solidarite Femmes didn’t buy it; they’ve already suspended him from his ambassadorship.
It’s not a good look when the face of your organization has an active, credible claim of abuse against him.
Someone tell the White House, areweright?
Adil concludes:
“I respect the decision of the association, it saddens me but I respect. After lying to keep a good relationship with her ex and her children is one thing, but using lies about violence to hurt me, it goes too far and it’s unfair. Again I will not let these false accusations on me and my family unanswered. All this is too serious. Here I said what I had to say and with heart. I let the pros take care of it now.”
We assume by pros he means attorneys?
Because these are serious allegations, and he might want to lawyer up.
