Despite having a litany of entertaining shows and catchy songs, Paris Hilton has seemed to always remain the butt of the joke.
This is in no doubt due to her rise to fame being owed to her sex tape, One Night in Paris, which came out 10 years ago!
But when you think about it, Paris was only 22 when she and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon made the video.
That’s such a young age to have one mistake decide the entire course of your life.
Paris recently touched upon the subject, saying:
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully trust any man again after that. It was just the most hurtful and awful thing that anyone could do to a little girl. I was very young, it wasn’t my fault.
It was devastating because that was someone I was with for a few years.”
It sounds like Paris was really hurt by the whole situation, independent of whether or not it helped launch her into a high level of fame.
While putting anything on the internet or on video can be dangerous, a decade seems like a long time to have to regret a single decision.
Paris has been making rounds in the media doing promotion for her new DJ gig, her new single, Come Alive, and her upcoming studio album with Cash Money Records.
