We have ALL the details on Taylor Swift‘s wedding dress! Buckle up, Swifties!
Of course, the American equivalent of a royal wedding is on its way. Tay Tay and her fiancé Travis Kelce are rumored to be married this summer before the NFL season starts — and we’ve gotten so many deets already. But the one thing fans have been left wondering about is THE DRESS!
After all of our silence and patience, pining and desperately waiting, we finally have some info!

A source told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that T-Swizzle is going the classic, vintage route with an Elizabeth Taylor-inspired gown. With her song named after the iconic actress on The Life of a Showgirl, it just feels like one of Tay’s famous Easter eggs, doesn’t it?!
We mean, she made a whole music video that was basically just a fashion edit paying homage to Cleopatra herself!
The gown she’s reportedly taking inspo from is from Liz’s first wedding, when she married Paris Hilton‘s great uncle Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr. in 1950. The gorgeous gown had an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline, cinched waist, and tons of lace and jewels. See a pic of it (below):

The source told the outlet:
“Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style. So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.”
The insider also dished that Mz. Swift picked the 1950 one in particular because it was “so flattering”:
“Taylor said she liked how it was old fashioned and came in at the waistline, plus the lace detailing.”
They said they didn’t know who the designer was going to be, but they confirmed it wasn’t going to be Oscar de la Renta. Other names swirling around that could potentially be designing her dress are Vivienne Westwood or Sarah Burton, a former designer for Alexander McQueen.
Elizabeth’s dress isn’t the only thing Tay is looking to for inspiration, though! The source claimed the pop star might just wear some of the actress’ estate jewelry on her big day:
“She loves Elizabeth’s jewels so she may just wear one of her pieces, something on the smaller side for when she walks down the aisle, but she would need to ask [Elizabeth] Taylor’s estate.”
We doubt this would be an issue, though. We mean, the fam was SO ecstatic about Tay’s song paying homage to their beloved Elizabeth.
