As we mentioned last week, Paris Hilton‘s Hollywood Hills home got robbed.
The thief got away with an estimated $2 million worth of jewelry and other belongings! And, now, the hotel heiress is speaking out for the first time about the incident.
Paris tells Life & Style, “I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home. They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace.”
We’d feel the same way. No one wants some a-hole stealing their shit.
She added, “I’m just thankful that I wasn’t there when it happened.”
So, what did the thief get away with?
According to an inside source, “millions of dollars of jewelry was stolen — diamonds, necklaces, rings, watches and family heirlooms from her grandmothers.”
But with all the money that she has, you’d think she’d be able to afford some better security? Turns out she does have surveillance cameras set up.
An insider said, “Paris has surveillance cameras set up in every room.”
The source, who has already seen the burglary videos, adds “The thief was wearing a black hoody and knew exactly where to go, like he’s been there before.”
We smell an inside job! Could it have been a “friend”? A “friend of a friend”? Who???
But Paris won’t let this one slide by.
She’s apparently “upped her security team to three 24-hour bodyguards, and she has someone on her property at all times. Detectives are doing a huge investigation.”
We hope they catch that burglar soon!
