Patrick Stewart is determined to fight Donald Trump!
The Logan star appeared on The View Thursday where he was asked about a tweet (below) he sent early in February that referenced Drumpf.

Had the worst sleep of my life last night. But I was sleeping less than 300 yds from where Donald Trump sleeps. Could there be a connection?

Patrick explained he had gone to Washington D.C. with his wife Sunny Ozell to visit some “Washington insider” friends to discuss Trump and what to do in the wake of his presidency.
That’s when he had the worst sleep of his life! Presumably because his sleeping quarters were so close to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Now, the esteemed British actor is applying for U.S. citizenship to do absolutely everything he can to oppose President Pumpkinhead.
He said:
“I’m not a citizen, however, maybe it’s the only good thing: as a result of this election, I am now applying for citizenship. Because I want to be an American too. All of my friends in Washington said there is one thing you can do: fight, fight, oppose, oppose. But I can’t do it because I’m not a citizen.”
Right on! We will gladly welcome him into the fold.
