We’re not sure why this phenomenon is happening, but Paula Deen‘s book sales are skyrocketing — and it’s as if people are buying them and thinking they’re going to be finding hidden previously missed racial undertones, or that someone is going to take them off the shelves permanently!
That might be a legit worry though, as it seems like a LOT of things in her life are being taken away right now!
Either way, orders for Paula Deen├óΓé¼Γäós New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up are booming on Amazon by nearly 1,300% in the last 24 hours! Damn! The book isn’t even available until October!
Book sales aren’t the only golden parachute that Paula has after openly admitting to using the n-word and then trying to blame everyone but herself for it — Paula’s annual Paula Deen Cruise on board the Mariner of the Seas has been flooded with so many calls, the cruise is adding an extra departure in 2014!
Honestly, until she learns from her mistakes (key word there is HER, as in HER OWN), we would rather none of these silver-linings to be reality! We don’t want her destroyed by any means, we just want her to make amends… owning up to everything she did in full knowledge of it being offensive, and making strides to change! She’ll never take this seriously if her cruise built out of 1,300% more book orders is lining her pockets!
