Alan Thicke touched so many people’s lives.
So it’s no wonder countless celebs have paid tribute to the late actor on social media. Most recently, Alan’s former daughter-in-law Paula Patton took to Instagram to pen a touching note about the Growing Pains star.

As you may recall, the Warcraft actress was married to Alan’s son Robin Thicke, with whom she has a six-year-old son named Julian. In fact, Patton and the Blurred Lines singer were together for 21 years and married for nine years prior to their split in 2014. We can’t even begin to imagine the heartache Paula’s dealing with right now.
Alongside a smiling pic of Thicke, Miz Patton wrote:
“I knew Alan since I was 15 years old and he had a tremendous effect on my life. I loved and respected him so much! So many great memories and laughs together. We will miss him so much! His grandson is quite sure he is still here with us in spirit. ├ó┬¥┬ñ├»┬╕┬Å”
Our hearts are just breaking!
Of course, this sweet message comes shortly after A-lister’s funeral and star-studded memorial service. The late father-of-three’s passing has been particularly shocking as he died back on December 13 while playing hockey with youngest Carter. So sad.
We’re sending everyone affected by this loss only love. R.I.P. Alan.
