Peanut Allergies May Comes From Mothers Who Eat Peanuts

Researchers have found that mothers who eat peanuts while pregnant may increase the risk of their child being born with a peanut allergy.

While the more peanuts the mother eats during pregnancy increases the child’s risk, eating peanuts while breast-feeding does not appear to have an effect.

Fortunately, the connection between eating peanuts during pregnancy and giving birth to a child with allergies doesn’t seem to apply to the deadly peanut allergy that afflicts 1% of kids.

This research is still ongoing, but just to be on the safe side, mothers who are pregnant should abstain from peanuts until their baby is born!
