P-rezzelle recently sat down with the Millionaire Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger, to talk about her hit Bravo show, why she’s frienemies with Bethenny, her recent power play with Andy Cohen, and (of course) dating and MEN! Plus, we talk about what’s going on in her own love life – and ours! Ha

Perez Hilton: And now I have to start off by saying congratulations.
Patti Stanger: Thank you.
Perez Hilton: For a few reasons, first I just heard that you kind of signed a production deal with Bravo. Tell me about this deal. What are you doing?
Patti Stanger: Well basically Frances, our president became, well she was our vice president and she became our president and she acquired Style Network. So there’s Style, Oxygen, Bravo under that banner. Actually do for NBCUniversal as well but we’re going to be creating love programming genres that you guys want to see, singles, gays, straights, it doesn’t matter it’s going to be on the mark. And they’ve already started it with Dallas Most Eligible, which I’m leading them in August 15th at 10:00. I’m 9, they’re 10. And there’s going to be another matchmaker on the network.
Perez Hilton: Another matchmaker?
Patti Stanger: Well husband and wife. They are through my production company, The Soul Mate Project. And then we’re going to be creating lots of program so it’s going to be lots of fun.
Perez Hilton: But you won’t be staring in everything.
Patti Stanger: No, I won’t. I want to be like my producers. He never shows up and he collects a check at the end of the season.

Perez Hilton: Well and your show Millionaire Matchmaker is coming back on the air?
Patti Stanger: August 15th 9:00. First two weeks in row will be on Monday night, then we’ll switch 10:00 to Thursday night.
Perez Hilton: And now it’s been five seasons, is it the fifth season?
Patti Stanger: Fifth season and we’ve just signed up for six, seven, and eight.
Perez Hilton: Wow.
Patti Stanger: Yeah, yeah so we’re now, as I say with Andy Cohen we’re monogamous now; we’ve hit the sheets.
Perez Hilton: Now, you set up people on dates and hopefully find love for them for a living. What’s going on in your love life?
Patti Stanger: Well it’s funny you should ask me that. [Watch above.]
Patti Stanger: Okay, so what about you Mr. Match.com? Did they kick you off again?
Perez Hilton: No, I still use that one and I use, my favorite is OkCupid. Have you heard of that one?
Patti Stanger: I heard that because it’s free, right?
Perez Hilton: Well it’s free and also you can rate profiles. So you can give someone one to five stars.
Patti Stanger: Oh my God that is so cool.
Perez Hilton: Yeah, so what I do, if I see that somebody views profile, I’ll view their profile and I’ll rate their profile.
Patti Stanger: Oh.
Perez Hilton: So then if you both rated each other a four or five stars, the system sends you an automated notification. And then I’ll email somebody if I know there’s already interest there. But I’ve been going on a bunch of dates and not really many second dates. But it’s okay. I have a new attitude. My new attitude is I’m enjoying me and this new world that I’m living in.
Patti Stanger: You’re like J. Lo as according to Vanity Fair today.
Perez Hilton: Well cheesy as it may sound, I feel like for the first time really ever worthy of love and worthy of the attention that I’m getting from men.
Patti Stanger: Well look how hot you look. Look you cut your hair.
Perez Hilton: I’m looking okay.
Patti Stanger: None of the blonde mop anymore. You cut your hair, you’ve got a J T heaven and you look sexier than hell. So I don’t see why, now you’ve just got to decide to choose right. See it’s about leaning for the right one.
Perez Hilton: Exactly, I’m picky.
Patti Stanger: Yes, what sign are you?
Perez Hilton: I’m an Aries.
Patti Stanger: Oh no wonder. What day?
Perez Hilton: March 23rd.
Patti Stanger: That’s like why — I love Aries but I’m a Gemini. You need a good Gemini.
Perez Hilton: Sure.
Patti Stanger: Yeah, they’re the best.
Perez Hilton: I would rather, because I was dating someone earlier this year, but it was not working out but I just didn’t not want to break free from it, and it was like three tortuous months. And ever since that ended I’ve been so happy.
Patti Stanger: Well good.
Perez Hilton: It’s better to be alone —
Patti Stanger: I have presents for you, I have presents for you.
