A California teen still isn’t quite over having her house crashed into by a celebrity duo.
If you didn’t catch the news Monday, Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders made headlines after TMZ reported they crashed the Saturday Night Live alum’s Mercedes Benz into a local resident’s home in the Flats neighborhood of Beverly Hills. Apparently, the two were out and about driving at a high rate of speed at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday when Davidson lost control of the luxury vehicle and slammed into the corner of the house, causing some damage to the siding. Now, the residents are speaking out.

Apparently, home alone was a 16-year-old girl who was simply reading a book and minding her business, her father told TMZ. Next, Davidson and Sui Wonders crashed, creating an extremely loud sound, as you could imagine, which the teen couldn’t place. According to her dad, she actually thought it was an earthquake! He told the outlet his daughter has been left “a bit” traumatized after the incident, and we really can’t blame her.
Seriously some scary stuff! Could you imagine being home alone late at night, totally immersed in a book, and the next thing you know your home is flooded with an intense noise, and you don’t know exactly what it is or where it’s coming from??
The teen girl’s father — the homeowner — also revealed that the King of Staten Island star crashed into the exterior wall of the living room. According to him, the crash was so intense that it pooped a window out of its frame!

It’s not clear exactly where the girl was in the house when the crash happened, but the good thing is she was uninjured — and because of that, it seems there’s really no hard feelings.
Apparently Pete and Chase diffused the situation by personally apologizing to the residents, which was enough for the homeowner to drop any thoughts of suing. However, the celebrity couple will most definitely be held accountable for repair costs. TMZ reported that contractors are currently looking over the damage, and police are finishing their investigation before everything is handed over to the insurance companies. See more (below):
