Which Celeb Is Photographer David Loftus Talking About In This INSANE Story Of A Photoshoot Gone Wrong??

David Loftus is opening up about the WORST celebrity behavior he’s ever experienced on set!

The famous photographer appeared in an episode of The Go-To Food podcast earlier this month, and in it, he dished absolutely mind-blowing details of a job he took photographing a group of celebs at one point in his career.

Now, just for some context, David is the crème de la crème when it comes to professional photographers. He’s worked with countless famous celebs, and is particularly known for working with famous chef Jamie Oliver. So, he’s seen it all — and shot it all! But this one shoot in particular has clearly stuck with him like a bad cold!

Talking to the podcast hosts, he named Gwyneth Paltrow as someone he’s worked with who’s  been “charming.” But he then admitted that you sometimes “get a shocker like” — *BLEEP.* Yeah, they bleeped out the celebrity who he named! Odd, right?? But why? Well, he went on to tell the story. He recalled:

“I shot her for Marie Claire … and not nice at all. They were just buying drugs on the shoot. The shoot got later and later and it was disgraceful. And we were in the editor of Marie — it was one of the editors of Marie Claire’s parent’s house on the river. They set up this amazing scene and it was going to be this sort of Halloween scene. There were famous actresses.”

He recalled fashion designer Julien McDonald being there, and called him “one of the most arrogant people” he’d ever met. And it sounds like the famous actress shoot models were pretty arrogant, too!! Loftus went on:

“I mean, extraordinary arrogance, pulling off coats off the racks saying ‘I’m going to keep this,’ and it’d be [about a $20,000] coat. And they’re throwing things in the river.”

Yikes… It sounds like there was a lot of entitlement going on. But the horrors didn’t end there! He explained that the homeowners had “a beautiful antique speed boat on the river,” and that actress Margo Stilley, who was presumably part of the ensemble shoot, “jumped into the speed boat in high heels and the high heels went through the leather.” Oh no! What a total disregard for the homeowner’s property! And then it gets even WORSE!!!

David recalled:

“I went into the toilet and of course they’d wrecked the toilet because they were all doing coke. I was horrified, and I looked down and there was a first edition of Wind in the Willows, and they’d ripped out the first page and used it to snort [cocaine].”

Holy s**t! Just for some context, the book came out in 1908 and first editions are considered VERY rare… And can cost nearly $10,000 a pop! And these people allegedly used the pages to fulfill their drug bender!

The photographer added:

“I mean bad behavior beyond belief. I was furious, I was furious … I was just utterly cross. In fact, I managed to track down a first edition and sent it to replace the one they [destroyed]. But [the actresses] didn’t care, they were just partying and they were so wild, and they had their bits out, and it was just so grim.”

Wow. What a WILD story… And also, it makes you wonder why they bleeped out the first name, but not Margo’s name…

Is that because the mystery woman still a top actress?? Does she possibly have a lot to lose from this story coming out??

In the comments, fans tried their best to determine who it was, but to no avail. Some used ChapGPT to try and discern who it could be based on the context of the shoot being for Marie Claire at a house by a river and being Halloween-themed. But thus far, there’s no confirmation. What an absolutely WILD story tho!! Reactions, y’all??
