Pippa Middleton Talks Tennis And Wimbledon For Vanity Fair!

pippa middleton vanity fair wimbledon tennis editor column
As you might have heard, Pippa Middleton is the new contributing editor for Vanity Fair… on all things Wimbledon!
For her first piece, in a series of columns she’ll be writing, she has a personal guide for those who watch Wimbledon — including a cute story about how she fell in love with the tournament at an early age!
Here’s what she wrote:

“I first went to Wimbledon when I was eight years old and already a very keen tennis player. During this first trip I acted on my childish tennis dreams and bought myself a postcard of the women’s championship trophy, on which I wrote, ├óΓé¼╦£I will win this one day,’ with my signature below.”

While that might not have come true, her love for the tournament has never been stronger!
She continues with another story:

“Queuing from five a.m. on ├óΓé¼╦£People’s Sunday’ in 2004 with my sister for three hours and getting ├é┬ú35 tickets on Centre Court; my first time ever. Seats were a free-for-all├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and I recall almost tripping over myself trying to get as close as possible to my birthday-twin British hero Tim Henman.”

We think this is a fab opportunity for her, and it’s nice to see that she’s so passionate about it!
The column this month even even has a Q&A with Roger Federer!
